About Dave Edwards Racing

DER was born out of Dave's love for karting. Starting by working at an indoor circuit LKQC the passion for karting started there!

He then went on to race karts, racing senior open at Stretton Circuit Sprint Series then transitioning to Senior TKM racing at Fulbeck Sprint Series and Stretton, securing 2nd in the Senior TKM championship at Fulbeck in 2018.

From there Dave went on to become a mechanic beginning with X-Kart then moving to freelance with several teams including:

- Jack Dex Racing
- Mad Croc
- Veloce Racing
- Dean Jukes Racing
- BSR
- Evolve Motorsport

This allowed Dave to expand his skillset to be able to work on all Rotax & IAME classes.

DER was born out of freelance work with Arthur Brownless, his first driver to join the team racing at Kimbolton and Fulbeck, Ollie Walker followed not long after and the team has grown over the last 18 months from 2 drivers to currently 9! Finishing the 2024 campaign off strong with a 2nd place in Fulbeck Sprint for Arthur and 4th place for Ollie in Junior Rotax.

Each driver in the team is treated equally as important, no driver is above another! We will ensure to get the best out of each of our drivers and unlock their full potential on track!

2025 sees the team competing at PFi Club, Kimbolton Club, Fulbeck Sprint Series and The Kart Championship!
